Tuesday mornings at 10am, Eti McCarthy, a well respected and prominent woman in the Samoan Community, experienced communicator, pastor’s wife, mum of 3, grandmother, and life coach, hosts one of Radio Samoa’s longest program “Toe Tepa i le Aiga”. Eti has a focus on encouraging women and parents about raising their children. She brings awareness about issues and skills to help build strong and successful families with a holistic approach.

A collection of over 2000 Samoan Proverbs, “Alagaupu FaaSamoa”, compiled by famous Samoan Author, Educator, Culture and Language Expert Tofaeono Tanuvasa Tavale. These Samoan proverbs are prerecorded and played three times every day, elaborating their meanings, originality and application. Tofaeono is a leader of the Samoan Community and Chairman of the Samoan Catholic Board in NZ and has published several books in the Samoan language.

Julia and her late husband Ropati served for many years as senior pastors of Elim Church Porirua in Wellington.
