Tuesday mornings at 10am, Eti McCarthy, a well respected and prominent woman in the Samoan Community, experienced communicator, pastor’s wife, mum of 3, grandmother, and life coach, hosts one of Radio Samoa’s longest program “Toe Tepa i le Aiga”. Eti has a focus on encouraging women and parents about raising their children. She brings awareness about issues and skills to help build strong and successful families with a holistic approach.

Tuaopepe Aperila

Tuaopepe Aperila, a respected elder and chief of the Samoan Community in Auckland hosts the “Aoao malu manogi o le lolo” program Tuesday nights 8pm. This program has a focus on bringing together ideas and their backgrounds of the Samoan culture, practice, language and traditions which a selected panel of orators, chiefs and experts come together to discuss and share their wisdom. A popular program, with a wealth of impartation of the Samoan language and culture.

Julia Amosa

Many callers queue on the phone lines to receive prayer during “Tatalo mo Oe” program hosted by Julia Amosa on Friday nights 8pm. A Christian program which focuses on serving people’s needs in prayers and spiritual encouragement. Julia and her late husband Ropati served for many years as senior pastors of Elim Church Porirua in Wellington.
